3).Micro-Blogging Enabled Social Network Site
Micro-Blogging Enabled Social Network Site.

The proposed project is Social Network Site for Campus/Corporate/Public.  The project contains all the features of typical social network sites like, photo sharing, video sharing, messages, groups etc.  The main module in this project is a micro-blogging enabled communicator.

Micro-blogging is a form of blogging that allows users to write brief text updates (usually less than 200 characters) and publish them, either to be viewed by anyone or by a restricted group which can be chosen by the user. These messages can be submitted by a variety of means, including text messaging, instant messaging, email or the web.

In An user can create any number of communicators.  He can invite friends in the social network to join in that communicator.  Users can login into the communicator using variety of means apart from the website like mobile, instant messenger (google talk, yahoo messenger etc..), email etc.  Once user sets his login device every posts to the communicator will be pushed to his login device; SMS to mobile, instant message to messenger.  The user can also post his reply using the same device.

To use the communicator facility the user does not need to login to the website like conventional social network sites.  This advantage will certainly increase active user base of the proposes project.

This project can be developed using J2EE/.NET/PHP with database MySql or MSSQL with the aid of SMS gateway, Google API etc..


4) Universal Web Administration tool for Database
The proposed project "Universal Web Administration tool for Database" is an online tool that can be used manage databases like MySQL, MSSQL, Postgre SQL etc..

Working of the Application.
To acces a database remotely the user need to supply the address of the server, user name, password, database name etc to the initial screen of the application.  The proposed project works in conjunction with Enterprise Database Integration server project posted in this website earlier.  Appropriate screens will be provided to the user for tha database actions like insert,delete,edit,query options.  The request from the users will be parsed by the application and will send to the Enterprise Database Integration server for execution.  The results that returned from the server will be displayed to the user.

5) College management system

College management system is an integrated web application that handles various academic and non academic activities of a College/Academic Institute.  The system can access by every students/faculties/employees of the institution through internet connected computers or internet enabled mobile devices with the aid of his user name and password.  Every user will have a customized home page with his/her profile management facilities.  Through links that displays in the home page the user can access different options of the website assigned to him.

Though the system allows access to every one there is a significant security risk involved in this project.  To tackle this problem we suggest a modular structure in the proposed system and a complete isolation of the financial and administrative modules from the public portal. Only trusted IP’s can access these modules. Web services will interact to the financial and administrative modules to fetch necessary information to display in the public portal.  Although a standard password policy will be followed in the designing of the system to prevent the possibilities of malicious activities of itching users.

A self driven module in the proposed system will accomplish the automated tasks such as Email Alerts, SMS alerts, Notifications to the administrator etc.

The system can be developed using ASP.NET 2005 and MS SQL Server 2005.

Airline Reservations Systems contain airline schedules, fare tariffs, passenger reservations and ticket records.An airline’s inventory contains all flights with their available seats. The inventory of an airline is generally divided into service classes (e.g. First, Business or Economy class) and up to 26 booking classes, for which different prices and booking conditions apply. Inventory data is imported and maintained through a Schedule Distribution System over standardized interfaces. One of the core functions of the inventory management is the inventory control. Inventory control steers how many seats are available in the different booking classes, by opening and closing individual booking classes for sale. In combination with the fares and booking conditions stored in the Fare Quote System the price for each sold seat is determined.

8) Audio Manager

An Mp3 is an audio file format which is encoded from an Audio CD or other audio formats like wav, ram etc... Mp3 is the most popular format for music in the present world. Nowadays Mp3 players are available making Mp3's the best form of audio.

These Mp3 files are of different quality which is decided by the bit-rate of the file. Greater the bit-rate bigger the size of the file. These Mp3's have a great advantage of being able to store the various information about the audio file, namely the artist, album , year etc.. This is achieved with the help of a tag.

The basic idea of this project is to create a software which can store the contents of our Mp3 CD's in a catalog based form so that if we have 'n' number of CD's it will be easy for us to manage the CD's. This helps us to create a catalog of our disk collection. By using such catalog, we can easily find all necessary files and folders without the need to insert disks into the drive. We can also Sort files, folders, disks and categories by attributes, names, locations, creation date, artist, album etc. The duplicate files will be notified by the software. We can update file, folder, and disk information at any time.

Electronic Tendering is carrying out the traditional tendering process in an electronic form, using the internet. Using E-Tendering the users can:

12) Online Movie Reservation

It is concept of developing a web portal, where a customer can book movie tickets in theatres that are made available in the site. The transfer of tickets is also done immediately, i.e., as soon as the reservation is confirmed .This involves a network of cities. The following should be facilitated on the portal for user’s convenience.
• Availability of tickets on mentioned date and time in specified City
• Online Booking
• Information of shows Running in Theatres
• Special offers

The user selects a particular movie and show in a selected city, if there is availability of tickets for that show, then confirmation for ticket booking must be done. In case of non availability of tickets, the portal must display next available date & time.

There is no cancellation of tickets once they are booked, at any cost. The provision for money transaction is provided in the same portal. This requires possession of a bank‘s credit or debit card with the customer. An alternative mechanism also exists for the people who doesn’t have a bank card. This procedure involves Phone Conferences. This procedure is, a bit tedious to follow in comparison.


13) STUDENTS PORTICO

STUDENTS PORTICO
The system STUDENTS PORTICO is a web application for Pioneer Educational Institutions that offers an extensive range of functionalities for students for better student-life management. STUDENTS PORTICO provides various services that are not available in the current system being utilized, hence aiming at improving the quality of the information system to higher standards. This system makes use of the pioneering ideas of Client/server architecture and Mobile computing for perking up the litheness of the application. This system has four sub-systems included in it which deals with the various dimensions of student life requirements:

4.      Web site Creation and Management for students

Diary Creation and Management assists the students to keep an account of day-to-day activities and act accordingly. This system is capable of mitigating the complexity of a student̢۪s life to certain extent. Friend Finder in STUDENTS Portico is an ideal place where the students can stay connected to friends who share similar interests or affiliations. Friend Finder offers a podium for students to share their ideas, seek advices for significant activities, or to give the opinions about any conceivable topics.
Content Management System in STUDENTS PORTICO assists student by informing them the latest happenings in IT field all over the globe and up-to-the-minute information of the Institution. Content Management System aids the staffs in creating, managing and distributing the news contents efficiently. It also offers SMS News service through which the students, who are interested, can access the flash news through handheld devices. Website Creation and Management system assists the students in minimizing the time and manpower required to develop websites for them. This means the users do not need any programming knowledge; all they need is their opening content. A set of templates are defined in this software to create the initial site. The student can then use the simple management interface to control the site content and perform their own updates.

Introduction To CITIZEN CARD SYSTEM
The Project ‘Citizen Card System’ gives us the information about the citizen in any country. A Citizen has unique Id to find out the personal information in each and every department or service wherever a citizen goes. This information can be found out by the unique Id of the citizen. If any citizen wants to utilize the services or utilities by the Government or Private organizations, he has to go to each and every department with different Id for that particular department. Instead, a citizen card helps in having all the utilities and services under one unique Id. This system not only helps us to know the information about the services or utilities but also it gives the information about the character of the citizen in credit rating.
This System consists of the modules like Personal Information, Credit Rating, Banking, Insurance, Tax, Provident Fund, Electricity, Telephone, Gas, Movies, Municipality, RTO, Voting, Passport, Travel Agency etc.

If citizen want to take a policy like Insurance policy then citizen basing on id he/she logins and register themselves to take a policy .Not only the Insurance but also he/she perform the transactions like banking, Electricity, Banking, Insurance, Tax, Provident Fund, Telephone, Gas, Movies, Municipality, Credit rating etc. Credit rating tells the behavior of the person whether citizen’s character is good or bad.
INTRODUCTION TO MODULES
Personal Information
This module contains the personal information like name, id, address etc., of citizen. If administrator wants to view the personal details of the citizen administrator can verify the personal information module.
Credit Rating
This module gives the information about the character of the citizen. It determines whether the citizen’s behavior basing on all the things is good or bad. It provides the information of the citizen.
Insurance
This module provides the amount insured and regarding its installments. Basing on citizen id the insurance details can be displayed. If the citizen wants to make a policy in the insurance then citizen can make it by his citizen id.
Taxation
This module provides the information regarding the tax paid and tax to be paid. If Administrator wants to know about the particular citizen details whether he/she paid the tax or not then the administrator can check it basing on id.
Gas
This module provides the information regarding the deliveries of the gas. The information provides the amount paid by the customer to the particular gas no and gas type.
RTO
This module provides information regarding licenses for vehicles. It gives the information like vehicle name, vehicle registration number, engine number, Service number, Owner address etc
Voting
This module provides the online voting facility. Citizen can choose particular area to the voting. Citizen can vote according to his/her choice.
Banking
This module allows all banking transactions. Citizen can make any bank transactions basing on citizen id. Banks like SBI, ICICI, Andhra bank etc., all the banking transactions can be done with citizen id.
Telephone
This module provides information about the telephone bill payments. It provides the information about the STD calls/ISD calls and their charges of particular citizen id.
Electricity
This module provides information about electricity bill payments and all. It provides the information like number of units and previous no of units and the charge for that bill basing on id of particular citizen.
Passport
This module provides information about particular citizen. Details like citizen’s personal information and date issued, valid up to etc.
Objectives
To enable the Administrator to perform operations basing on citizen id like voting, passport, gas, banking, Personal Information, Credit Rating, etc.

15) AUTOMATIC MENU GENERATOR

AUTOMATIC MENU GENERATOR creating menus that facilitates communication between user and the application program. Different applications have different Menus. AMG facilitates the setting up of an Interface with an application in a standard way. Interface allows communication between user and the application program. AMG initiates the program; it collects relevant information from the user and the application for which the communication block is being generated. Using menus user can open and edit file content.
The Structure includes the following
  1. NUMBER OF MENU ITEMS.
  2. EACH MENU ITEM NAME.
  3. SUBROUTINE NAME THAT HANDLES MENU’S FUNCTIONS.
All such details are collected and the after performing the related operations , the user can verify the details entered and user can give suitable name for the Menus.

First, we have to create a Main Menu. Assume that this Menu has the following Items:

  1. The NEW Menu initiates the AMG.
  2. The EDIT menu facilitates modification in an existing menus.
  3. The DOCUMENTATION Menu contains a submenu that includes details about the systems and the user manual.
  4. The HELP Menu includes the tips for using this software. There should be a file for each main menu to collect the structural information about it.
When the execution of the AMG is initiated, the Menu’s are displayed and the selection of the Menu and suitable action is carried and based on the subroutine name entered while creating the Menu. The application generator writes the subroutines. AMG does not depend on them. This software is application independent.
IMPORTANT STEPS NEEDED
  1. Having a “Welcome” message for the user.
  2. Clicking HELP, DOCUMENTATION OR NEW MENU.
  3. On clicking NEW menu the user have to enter his/her application name for which the menu is created.
  4. Also the user has to include the number of menu’s he/she wants and also submenus, at appropriate time.
  5. A Tree structure format is obtained for displaying menus.
  6. The user can open, copy and edit text files.
Procedure is repeated as per the number of menus given by the user.
